Once discovering Zechariah Sitchin’s work “The Lost Book Of Enki”, I was introduced to the Sumerian tablets and their tales of creation. Sitchin was no Anthropologist though, and often his translations of the Cuneiform scripts are tainted by an underlying motivation.
I give credit where credit is due. His “work” got me started digging deeper, as it should you. Accept and understand that he had ulterior motives for translating as he did, but the focus is indeed valid. Look to the earliest writings you can find to get your best guess at how earth and humans actually got here.
A true scientist looks at what he can see to determine what IS. Many have an idea of what IS and look through filters to validate it, rather than look for new information to modify their idea of what IS. The hallmarks of a dishonest scientist are quoting resources out of context or truncating the quote before it actually leads to a different conclusion.

I don’t think Zacharia Sitchin was so much a hack, remember, i dedicated his life, to inform humanity, but, he was Jewish, and as the time progressed, I’m sure the zaion….. would only allow so much to be printed. I learned, that one needed to read between the lines. The one’s who could, understood and the rest, read the book. Could give you other examples of the same ‘ problem ‘ . Stay well. Think outside….
He translated somewhat ok, but used out of context and incomplete pieces of the text to reach his foregone conclusions rather than being able to alter his opinion with newly discovered information. That is where the “hack” part comes in. Misusing ancient texts to support an incorrect or incomplete concept. Thank you for the comment though.
