Back when I experienced My Death, I did some research into Near Death Experiences (NDE).
I found a large number of the reported instances that I found at the time had many similarities. A feeling of “at one with the Universe”, followed by a tunnel with a light and then being enveloped by the light. Another common one was of a door opening and passing through the door into “light”.
Now neither of these scenarios remotely resembles mine. In fact, these sort of NDE’s may be a recollection of birth. I would like to see a study of these and how strongly they relate to vaginal vs. C-Section delivery. If the tunnel relates significantly to vaginal delivery and the door to C-Section, it may support my theory of it being recollection of birth.
Of course this has no relationship to the NDE’s where the person meets deceased loved ones or has some other experience such as mine.
