These are my thoughts to date. I make no claims to these being the “truth”, and of course there are many, many details which can be drilled down to which are not here.
My understanding of the creation of man is that he was first created as a worker, not a breeding species. Once he was made a breeding species with the creation of woman, I think that there were different versions of man(kind) created in different regions of Earth. These are the different human races. Each was given a member of the creator species as “God” to them. Now the creator species’ lifespan is many times ours, with thirty thousand years being the beginning of their prime of life, so posing as “eternal” was easy.
Recorded in the book of Enoch is the time when 200+ of the Watchers took wives from among men. I think that some of these may have been the local “God” for several of the races. I also think this is the introduction of the RH- gene into the human genome.
My general understanding at this time is Anu was the “king”. He had two sons of different mothers, Enlil and Enki. Enlil was given overall responsibility for Project Earth, which was initially a mining operation. When the decision was made to create a “worker” to do the hard word, Enki was essentially the lead engineer for that project.
After some time, the females of the creator species who were gestating these workers grew weary of it. The decision was made to create woman, thereby relieving them of that task. “Let us make man in our image….male and female”.
Somewhere in the process, a line engineer decided to add some of their own DNA to the mix in order to achieve a better result. This resulted in a higher level of intelligence and actual consciousness, which made man(kind) potentially equal to them, and certainly of a higher species than a mere engineered worker.
Enlil (the God of the Bible) was not happy with this. “Who has told you you were naked?” Apparently, he discovered that they had a sense of right and wrong…knew good and evil.
Enki’s son Marduk was placed in charge of a group of the creator species known as the Watchers, who were set in place to observe as humans continued. Marduk fell in love with a human and took her to wife. In a “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander” move, 200+ of the Watchers did the same. The breeding of the Watchers and human women I think to be the source of the RH- blood. Of the 200+, around 22 or 23 resulted in passable “human” offspring.
Of interest is that the 13 ruling European families are all RH-, and have inbred significantly to preserve that. There are also 9 other ruling families outside of Europe, for … drum roll please … 22, which happens to be the number of such breedings which resulted in a viable human offspring and not “giants”. Some claim a 23rd ruling family, and this would actually be Marduk.
I think the “war in the heavenlies” was over whether or not to allow mankind to continue to exist. There was a cataclysm coming (“the flood”), and Enlil was going to let it wipe man from the face of the Earth.
Enki wasn’t having it as many humans were his descendants. He managed to save a family and a lot of the genetics for life on the planet which would have to be completely redone otherwise. This survived in the story of Noah and the Ark. This further angered Enlil but he was eventually assuaged by the fact that some humans survived the flood anyway.
However Enlil managed to get Enki labeled as a Serpent, or Snake or “the Devil” in our writings. It is my opinion that Enlil is the real Devil, as he wanted us destroyed, and may still. Enki may be represented as Ba’al, who has also been demonized but is actually a friend of man. See my post The Ba’al Theory Of Christianity for an interesting presentation of that story.
Whether a thing be good or evil is entirely dependent upon the perspective. One man’s “saving Angel” is another’s “destroying Demon”. The argument between Enlil and Enki was really one of perspective, but the human race depends on the outcome. I say “depends” as I don’t think our fate is sealed yet.
As an interesting observation, there is no RH- among the Japanese.
